Karaoke
Mention the word Karaoke and I can hear you scream Oh No!!! However
with the right crowd Karaoke is a great way to break the ice.
It can be introduced into the show at the start of the party before
things really get going or later on in the evening after your
guests have had a little liquid lubrication.
We supply TV monitors for the singers and also for the audience.
The same high quality sound system is used for Karaoke, with the
addition of a digital electronic voice processor to enhance the
vocals and monitor speakers so the singers can hear themselves.
You don't have to be blessed with the voice of Charlotte Church
or Michael Ball to become the star of the show, anybody can take
part, and you'll be surprised just how appreciative the audience
can be.
Karaoke is offered as an optional extra to the main show and is
not available for hire separately.

Our
latest addition to the show is a large 5-foot rear projection
screen showing the latest video releases on DVD. The ladies can
now not only dance to the sounds of Ricky Martin but at the same
time view a life size image of him gyrating right next to the
dance floor (Kylie & Eric Prydz) is proving a big hit with the
guys. The children love to see the latest (Girls Aloud & Sugababes) DVDs and it gives the rest of your guests something to
look at if the dancing is a little too strenuous.
We can also display pictures of the bride & groom on their
big day and run a slide show during the first dance of any pictures
put on to disc by the client. We need a little extra room to set
up the additional equipment but if space were not an issue we
would strongly recommend adding this option to your package.
Video screen or not you can rest assured that no mobile disco
will provide you with such a high quality audio and visual show
that we at Gemini Sounds provide for the price you pay.
Toastmaster Service
We strongly believe that a Toastmaster is an essential ingredient
to a wedding celebration. However if you feel you cannot justify
the additional expense of an official Toastmaster, but agree with
us that you need somebody to ensure that timings and protocol
are adhered to, then why not let us do it for you.
From greeting your guests, arranging the welcome line, announcing
the bride & groom into the dinning room, making sure the speeches
are done in the correct order and at the right time, arranging
timing with the caterers and the cake cutting ceremony, right
up to the first dance. We act in a relaxed manner and help to
make the official duties of the top table a little less stressful.
Full red suit or dinner jacket the choice is yours, you can be
rest assured that by booking our toastmaster service your evening
function will start and finish with that professional touch.

There All Day
Unlike many mobile discos that can set up ready to play in less
than one hour, we cannot do this; we take nearer three hours to
set up. We therefore require access to the venue normally in the
morning.
It is not possible for us to turn up after your meal & quickly
set up. When the Bride & Groom return to the venue from the
church, Gemini Sounds will be ready to start work. Fanfare to
welcome the Bride & Groom to the top table, background music
throughout the meal, radio microphone for the speeches is provided.
Ready to cut the cake and move seamlessly into the first dance.
